Armond DuBuque grew up in Washington State exploring the mountains around Leavenworth as a backcountry skier and climber. His passion for the outdoors and skill as a skier, climber, and mountaineer have given him the opportunity to pioneer ski descents of Mt Cashmere, Mt Rainer, and Mt Hunter in Alaska.
A machinist by trade, in mid 90’s he invented and patented a Telemark ski binding that incorporated crampons into the binding. This binding was used in his record descents of Mt Rainer and Mt Hunter.
Armond has been actively flying in Leavenworth since 2005 and is considered the local expert on flying in and around Leavenworth and the Enchantements
