ABOUT

Leavenworth Paragliding specializes in tandem paragliding from Tumwater Mountain. Tumwater Mountain is one of the most beautiful flying sites in the country. It is located between the picturesque town of Leavenworth and the Alpine Lakes wilderness area of the Cascade Range. Flights from Tumwater Mountain provide spectacular views of Tumwater Canyon and Drury falls as well as views into the enchanted Stewart range. Our launch is located 2,800 vertical feet above town and easily provides a flight of over 15 minutes. A few running steps is all it takes to fly away from the hill and experience soaring flight. Once in the air, our certified pilots will give you a wonderful tour of the surrounding area and land you back in town with memories of a lifetime. Our operating season usually begins in late April to mid May (depending on the amount of snowfall on the access road) and goes through October.
